I grew up in rural Ohio where I enjoyed exploring the great out doors with my younger brothers, tinkering with woodworking, and being taught in a two-room school. At the age of 12, my aunt gave me a manual Konica 35 mm camera which I put to good use for the next 7 years. Working for 8 years after graduating high school, I decided to further my studies and in 2010 received a Bachelor of Fine Art in Photography from The Ohio State University.
